Swim England Affiliated
Swim England sets the gold standard for swimming education in the UK. Lessons are designed to develop water confidence, safety, and skills in a logical, age-appropriate progression which are inclusive and accessible, whether your child is a complete beginner, has additional needs, or is progressing toward competitive swimming
Being Swim England affiliated means we are committed to continuous improvement, regular monitoring, and it requires teachers to be thoroughly trained and certified and undergo enhanced DBS checks to ensure a safe environment for your child and high quality delivery across all lessons.
20+ years experience
All our teachers have a lifelong passion for swimming, with experience that spans both in the water as swimmers and on the poolside as qualified instructors. Their diverse backgrounds include teaching everything from parent-and-baby classes to swim school programs, club training, and county and national-level coaching.
They also bring valuable experience in working with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEN/D), as well as delivering swimming lessons as part of junior and primary school PE curriculums. This broad experience allows us to tailor lessons to suit each child’s individual needs, ability, and confidence level.
National + swimmers
All of our teachers have experienced the full journey – starting as young learners, progressing through competitive swimming, and achieving incredible milestones, including competing at national level, Commonwealth trials, and even earning a Paralympic bronze medal.
Because we’ve lived that journey ourselves, we understand exactly how it feels to be excited, nervous, or unsure when stepping into the water and facing new challenges. That’s why we’re passionate about guiding your child with empathy, encouragement, and expert knowledge—combining personal experience with professional teaching qualifications to deliver the very best support at every stage of their swimming journey.
